Whilst we’re working to ensure your products are exactly as advertised, there may be cases where very small amendments are made to the bunch, or the balloon, that you receive. Changes to the style of the bunch will only be made if the Charmed Creative Team are happy with the overall look and feel of the bunch and that it matches as close as possible to the one ordered. If there are any changes that need to be made to your order which completely change the aesthetic of the bunch ordered, our Online Sales Team will contact you with alternatives.

Please note that as a business, Charmed Event Balloons are following all guidelines issued by the Department of Health and Social Care and from Public Health England and are going above and beyond to ensure all employees and customers abide by these guidelines to keep everyone safe.
Contactless Collections We will have your items ready in a sealed bag for time we arranged. There will be no physical contact as per guidelines. Please keep to allotted collection time.
If possible please wear a mask, let us know you are here and step back 2 metres from door.
We will also be wearing PPE and will place your order down and step back for you to collect.
Free Local Doorstep Deliveries Your items will be delivered in clear bags. When we arrive we will be wearing gloves and mask, we will knock at your door and step back 2 metres for you to collect your delivery.
We carry antibacterial hand cleanser, wipes and antibacterial spray in our vehicle.

If you have selected Nationwide Delivery, We will use either Royal Mail or DPD. Customers who have chosen our tracked DPD service will receive a text/email notification with the tracking number of the parcel. For customers who have selected our standard delivery service, the items will be sent via Royal Mail and are not tracked, which can take 3-5 working days.
All inflated items are required to be sent with our DPD tracked service.
Can I Send My Balloons To A Venue?
Charmed Event Balloons can deliver to any UK Mainland address; however, we always advise you let the venue know that the balloons are arriving. Please check whether the venue recommends any specific delivery instructions for your addressing label. If the item is signed for on the date chosen, we are unable to provide a refund should the venue misplace them.
The Recipient Wasn't Home
My recipient was not home to receive the parcel, what happens now?
Whilst we understand that sending a gift is ideally to be a surprise, we do suggest that you let your recipient know that they have a parcel coming so they can let you know if they will be available to receive the gift. If they are not at home the we will reattempt delivery the following day. Unfortunately, we are unable to issue any delivery charge refunds if the recipient is not at home.
Caring For Your Balloons
How do I store my balloons and how long will they last for?
Our Inflated Balloons are expected to float for up to a week depending on the type of balloon, temperature & how the balloons are stored.
Our balloons are designed for display and not to be used as a toy.
The balloons need to be stored at room temperature in order to be in the best condition possible. If delivered or collected in a delivery bag, you must store out of the bag.
If delivered in a delivery box, you can leave these inside or outside the delivery box however, we will always advise double-checking the products when they arrive to ensure you are happy with them.
My Item Is Out Of Stock
My product is out of stock, what happens now?
Sometimes our products may be out of stock and we will do all we can to get in touch with you to offer you a refund on the item or a replacement of another item to the same value. If we cannot get through to you, we will continue to process and deliver the items so you still have the rest of your order and issue you a refund for the item out of stock.

My Item Was Faulty
My custom item/inflated balloon is faulty, what do I do?
We are really sorry to hear that your product has not arrived in the condition you hoped for. If the product is faulty, please email email@example.com 24 hours upon receiving the item with a photo of the balloon.
If we receive photos after 24 hours of you receiving the goods this will limit our investigations and how we can assist you.
I’ve changed my mind, what is your returns policy?
We are unable to return inflated and custom-made orders. Due to their nature, they are personalised and created for each individual customer and as a result, cannot be reused or resold.
For our DIY, partyware and non-personalised items, we hope you are delighted with your purchase, however, if you are not completely satisfied with the goods, please notify us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 14 days of receiving the goods and ensure the items are returned within 30 days in their original condition with the packaging intact.
Please note we do not offer a pre-paid return option and therefore the postal service used to return the items is at the sole discretion of yourself; we do recommend that you use a tracked or signed for service so you can track your item’s journey. Once the items have been received at Charmed Event Balloons, the product will be inspected and refunded, excluding any delivery costs on the order.
Please note that if your items are faulty this does not affect your statutory rights.
Balloons And The Environment & Helium Safety
Latex balloons are made from rubber trees and decompose at the same rate as an oak leaf.
A latex balloon begins to decompose from the moment it is manufactured and in contact with the natural elements. Decomposition is rapidly accelerated when the balloon is inflated and exposed to sunlight and oxygen. This process of decay causes the balloon to oxidise. Oxidation begins within approximately one hour of inflation and is visible in some types of balloon as a cloudy or misty appearance.
In the same way that the wood from a tree will rot, a latex balloon is made from the sap of the tree, and will disintegrate in the same way.
How is latex made?
Latex is harvested by tapping the rubber tree (this doesn’t harm the tree). Each tree planted to harvest rubber consumes CO2, thus reducing global warming. After the tree no longer produces latex, it is harvested and it’s wood turned into lumber. New trees are planted every year to ensure a continued supply of latex.
Supervise Children Under 8
Uninflated or burst balloons can present a choking hazard – please supervise small children at all times.
Only purchase CE marked products. These products are subject to Europe’s high manufacturing and testing standards.
To remove the risk of injury, always use a balloon pump and NEVER inhale helium.
Some people may suffer from latex allergies. If you think you are suffering from any unusual symptoms and have been handling latex balloons – please seek medical assistance
*Do not deliberately inhale helium. Although not poisonous, this gas could result in death by asphyxiation or damage to your lungs.
Use of balloon gas does not contribute to a shortage in the supply of helium as balloon gas is not a pure form of Helium. Gas companies we have spoken to have advised us that balloon gas is a by product of other processes i.e. filling MRI scanners etc., that would have otherwise escaped if not caught and re-used. Gas companies have advised it is currently un-economical to undertake a procedure to make balloon gas more pure.
Balloons should never be released into the environment.
Most of us have memories of releasing a balloon into the sky.
Some believe when you release a balloon into the atmosphere, it goes up, up and up until it eventually reaches outer space and disintegrates. But of course, balloons always come back down, and they don’t magically land in a garbage bin.
Because latex balloons are biodegradable, some believe their release and return will not cause any harm. While it is correct Qualatex latex balloons are biodegradable; they still must be disposed of properly to return to the environment safely and naturally. Additionally, the attached ribbon often is not biodegradable and may cause damage if entangled in the ocean or on land.
Don’t Let Go – Use a Weight!
Please don’t release helium balloons outdoors – tie each helium balloon individually to a weight. Always dispose of balloons responsibly. Pin it and Bin it!
What About Foil Balloons?
Foil balloons are not currently biodegradable or recyclable but they do have many uses to extend their lives for years to come and avoid them being sent to landfill.
